At The Way Showers, we believe that some of the most meaningful discoveries happen when we step outside our familiar environments and reconnect with the living world around us.

Through experiences with horses, nature, wildlife and one another, we create opportunities to explore the way we listen, relate, communicate and respond to life. Our approach brings together embodied awareness, guided reflection and the wisdom that comes from direct experience, inviting each person to discover what holds meaning for them.

Every experience at The Way Showers offers a different opportunity to connect, explore and discover.

Join us for an intimate encounter with a horse herd, a personal soul coaching session, one of our immersive experiences, or a tailored leadership and team development programme.

We are also expanding into wilderness and wildlife experiences, with new nature-based retreats and adventures in development.

Whether you are joining us as an individual, with friends or as part of an organisation, we invite you to find the experience that speaks to you.

Horses live in a world shaped by awareness, communication, relationships and the delicate balance between individual needs and the wellbeing of the herd.

When we enter their world, we are invited to observe and experience these qualities in a way that can reveal something about our own lives. Through facilitated encounters, quiet observation and meaningful interaction, we explore presence, boundaries, trust and the ways in which we relate to others.

Our experiences take place on the ground, with horses who remain free to choose how they participate. Their autonomy and wellbeing are central to everything we do.

The Way Back is our signature immersive experience, an invitation to step away from the familiar and spend meaningful time exploring your relationship with yourself, others and the world around you.

Created and facilitated by Gaylene Diedericks and Kathrine Bekker-Smith, these experiences bring together nature, horses, embodied awareness, personal reflection and the richness of genuine human connection.

Each immersion unfolds through experiences that engage the senses, invite curiosity and create opportunities for new perspectives. What we discover along the way becomes part of how we understand ourselves and the choices we make in everyday life.

From intimate one-day immersions to future retreats in remarkable natural settings, The Way Back continues to evolve as an expression of our belief in the power of direct experience.

Meaningful leadership begins with understanding ourselves, the values that guide us and the relationships we create with others.

At The Way Showers, we take leadership and team development beyond the conventional meeting room and into environments where learning becomes a lived experience.

Through horse-led encounters, strengths-based exploration, guided reflection and nature-based activities, we invite teams to examine communication, trust, boundaries, collaboration and the ways in which individual behaviour influences the greater whole.

Grounded in the spirit of Ubuntu, our programmes recognise that the strength of any organisation lies in the people who form it and the quality of their relationships.

We offer tailored half-day, full-day and bespoke programmes for businesses, leadership teams and organisations, with additional wilderness-based experiences in development.

Beyond the Herd | Into the Wild

Beyond the familiar world of the herd lies the extraordinary beauty and wisdom of the African wilderness.

The Way Showers is expanding into nature-based immersions, wildlife experiences and wilderness retreats that invite people to deepen their connection with the living world.

We are exploring opportunities with wilderness destinations and conservation-focused organisations to create meaningful experiences for individuals, groups and corporate teams, rooted in respect for wildlife, the natural environment and the relationships we share with both.

Wilderness experiences are coming soon. We welcome enquiries from potential partners, organisations and individuals interested in what is taking shape.
